Acne is a skin disorder resulting from the action of hormones on the skins sebaceous glands which lead to plug pores (blackheads and whiteheads), and outbreak of cysts or nodules normally called pimples. They may arise on the face, neck, chest, back, shoulders and still the upper arms. It is the most frequent and chronic skin disease. The acne affects mainly teenagers.
Home Remedies for Acne 1 - Boil water in a pan, put in some apple cider vinegar. Cool, put a towel on your head and bend above the pan.
Home Remedies for Acne 2 - Take 2 tbs of white sugar and 1 tbs of brown sugar and wet a little and massage face.
Home Remedies for Acne 3 - Apply equal amount of lemon juice and rose water with a cotton ball, leave for half an hour and wash. Replicate for 15-20 days.
Home Remedies for Acne 4 - Apply fresh mint juice over the face every night for the cure of acne, pimples, insect stings, eczema, scabies, & additional skin infections.
Home Remedies for Acne 5 - Make a paste by mixing honey and cinnamon powder. Apply the paste while sleeping and wash the face early in the morning as this is a good natural remedy for acne.
Home Remedies for Acne 6 - Mix and cook 2-3 tea bags with dried basil for 10-20 minutes. Then apply on face and acne with a cotton ball.
Home Remedies for Acne 7 - Eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. At least 5 servings of fruits and vegetables should be integrated in your diet.
Home Remedies for Acne 8 - Combine together 1 or 2mls each of the following: witch hazel, tea-tree and sweet fennel essential oils, adding essential oil of geranium for women and essential oil of rosewood for men. Combine with 300mls of water. Shake before use, as the oils will float on top of the water during storage. Apply to affected region with cotton wool 2 or 3 times a day. The oils will clean and unclog giving antibiotic-like safety to the skin.
