Commonly known as nose bleeding or hemorrhage, Epistaxis is a condition that is most commonly found in small children. The blood vessels in the nasal passages undergo rupturing due to excessive dryness. That is why this condition is mostly noticed among people in summer season. Due to bursting of the blood vessels, the nose starts to bleed.
The infection in the mucous membranes of the nose leads to its dryness which in turn gives rise to nose bleeding or epistaxis. People suffering from excessively high blood pressure are also prone to suffer from this condition. Generally, nose bleeding stops of its own after sometime. It may require medical aid in some cases.
