Feeling of heaviness in the stomach due to excessive gas formation is called as flatulence. It is condition that chiefly arises due to intake of wrong foods or beverages. Even lack of physical activity may be equally held responsible for occurrence of this condition. It is due to incomplete digestion of the foods in the stomach.
Flatulence can be managed by paying attention to the foods being consumed and by being physically active. Plenty of fluid intake is advisable to get rid of flatulence. Spicy, oily, greasy and fatty foods must be given up. Similarly, caffeinated and carbonated drinks plus smoking and alcohol consumption is also prohibited in this case.
