Hypertension or high blood pressure is a condition associated with human body under which the level or pressure of flow of blood through the arteries goes beyond normal permissible limits. It may be found more commonly among elderly. However youngsters may also be diagnosed with such a condition.
High blood pressure can be managed by reducing salt intake in diet. Also greasy, oily and fatty foods must be totally given up. Physical activity, yoga and meditation also play an important role in managing this condition well. Stress, tension and anxiety must be avoided by high blood pressure patients. Proper rest and sleep is equally important.
