Temporary or permanent loss of muscle functions is called as paralysis. There may be loss of muscle functions in one part or more than one areas of the body. In this condition, the nervous system loses control over certain muscles due to which the associated body part becomes inactive. It is caused due to weakness of the nerves.
Paralysis patients are required to have well-balanced and nutritious diet so as to normalize functions relevant to various nerves of the body. Physical exercises such as stretching and bending also play an important role in fast recovery from paralysis. Mental stress and anxiety should be avoided as it has an adverse effect on the functions of nervous system.
